Description

The Nitro Mercy is a twin-tip snowboard, symmetrical between the nose and the tail to be able to ride in either direction, with a soft flex that gives it a lot of accessibility and playability. Its camber + rocker profile is a guarantee of versatility.

What is the program of the Nitro Mercy snowboard?

The Mercy has a biaxial fiberglass reinforced wood core, offering a soft/medium flex, accessible and comfortable to ride while maintaining pop and responsiveness. It's perfect for riding the slopes and the edges of the resort, but also for serenely apprehending the modules of the snowpark. In addition, the reinforced edges and sides allow for a more robust board to go on the rails and boxes of the snowpark without fear. Finally, the camber + rocker profile provides grip on hard snow, facilitates the linking of turns and works well in soft snow. A freestyle board that also works well in all-mountain.

Who is the Nitro Mercy snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate or advanced snowboarders who ride on piste or who are looking for a snowboard that is playful and evolving.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
