Description

The Nitro Squash is easily recognisable due to its tapered shape and pronounced swallow tail. You immediately think of a powder board and indeed it does well in good snow conditions, but it is also precise and efficient on piste. It is also part of the "Carver Crue" series, which includes Nitro snowboards that can be used to carve hard.

What does the Nitro Squash snowboard do?

With its directional shape, refined at the back and with its foot position set back, the Squash offers phenomenal ease in the curve. It's a real treat to ride, both on and off piste. Its classic, well-defined camber offers great efficiency on hard snow, allowing you to carve the slopes with precision and recovery in every turn. Off-piste, it is ready to face any type of snow. The back foot position allows the front end of the board to emerge naturally from the powder, giving you easy lift and fluidity to slalom through the snow. The perfect board to link turns during descents whatever the quality of the snow.

Who is the Nitro Squash snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate level for a slightly sporty snowboarder, the Squash will delight snowboarders who love beautiful curves, in powder but also in carving.

What are the main qualities of the Nitro Squash snowboard?

Grip

Flotation

Precision

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
