Description

Ride has designed the Twinpig with an asymmetry between the front and back edges to compensate for the natural imbalance of strength between the front and back support grips. This provides more control and efficiency on hard snow, while the player flex and twin-tip shape offer ease during switch and maximum freestyle options. The Twinpig's cut-out spatula makes the Twinpig a little shorter than your usual board size, making it easier to handle.

What is the program of the Twinpig Ride snowboard?

The Twinpig functions throughout the resort and always offers lots of playability. On groomed slopes, you enjoy good grip thanks to the classic camber and asymmetric edges. It is a board that's easy to handle thanks to its energy-saving flex and rockers that smooth the transitions between turns. These rockers also provide a very correct exit from the fresh snow, which is enough for fun on the edges of the slopes and close to the pines. Ideal for freestyle, it's robust thanks to the internal urethane reinforcements, while the Double Impact Plates help cushion the landings and absorb vibrations. It's really a board that's fun to ride all over the resort and offers great trick possibilities.

Who is the Ride Twinpig snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate level, this model will delight a snowboarder who loves freestyle and is looking to vary the terrain. The Twinpig will offer lots of playability in all conditions.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
