Description

The Myth has a true twin shape, perfectly symmetrical, typical of freestyle snowboards. However, it's not designed to turn upside down but rather to provide you with a good base and allow you to have fun in the resort.

What is the programme of the Rossignol Myth snowboard?

The Myth is easier to tame than a kitten, thanks to a wooden shell that offers flexibility making it less energy-consuming. You can ride all day long, with confidence thanks to the good board/snow contact provided by the AutoTurn profile. So, thanks to the camber under your feet ensuring a secure grip on hard snow and the rockers that limit edge errors and make turns easier, you'll quickly make a series of turns on the blue slopes. Then get down to business and have fun with the moguls and the little powder on the edges of the piste

Who is the Rossignol Myth snowboard designed for?

This model is designed for beginner or intermediate snowboarders, freestyle or not. With no other prerequisite than having your doctor's permission to snowboard, this model allows you to discover the technical basics, progress at your own pace and for the most advanced, to learn freestyle.

What are the main qualities of the Rossignol Myth snowboard?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
