Description

If you want to discover snowboarding or simply keep on progressing once you have acquired some experience, you will have the appropriate board with the Soulside from Rossignol. This robust and lightweight snowboard has been designed to provide the best conditions to progress.

What is the program of the Rossignol Soulside?

The Soulside is a versatile snowboard that will adapt to groomed snow on the slopes and deeper snow off-piste. Its shape is qualified as directional, this means it is narrower at the back compared to the front, the nose is longer and softer than the tail and the foot stance has a slight setback. These characteristics make the Soulside easy to ride (as it pivots naturally) and they also allow the board to lift and float in powder. The flex of the board is rather soft, which makes it accessible and not too demanding physically. The profile consists of classic camber for grip, as well as rockers at the tips to improve the manoeuvrability and ability to lift.

Who is the Rossignol Soulside snowboard for?

The Rossignol Soulside is meant both for beginner and intermediate female riders. Novice riders will find a forgiving and easy board that will enable them to go down blue runs with confidence. The latter will have fun riding effortlessly a fun and nimble board in the entire resort.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
