Description

Here is the Gogo, Amplid’s women-specific snowboard designed for riders looking for all terrain fun on an easy-riding board. Its soft flex makes the board effortless to ride and not very demanding. Featuring a Hybrid-V camber combining the forgiveness and the playful feel of a rocker with the grip and the reactivity of a camber, the Gogo has what it takes to make you a better rider!

What can the women-specific Amplid Gogo snowboard do?

The board is perfectly adapted to women’s shapes and needs and it keeps the same mission, season after season: allow any rider to perform on all terrains and keep progression going no matter the conditions. The Gogo is really fun to move around and works like a dream on groomed snow, it grips hard and steers effortlessly with predictable and smooth turn initiations. It doesn’t feel too hooky though and delivers just enough grip to inspire confidence. But the board appears to be very floaty as well and works like an excellent freerider and can even play the role of a freestyle board if a snowpark was to show up on your way. If you were after a do-it-all snowboard, the Gogo is for you.

Who is the women-specific Amplid Gogo snowboard designed for?

It is a board for women riders with an intermediate or advanced level. If you are looking for a versatile snowboard for having fun on the entire mountain, the Gogo and its playful personality is going to suit you well.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
