The Arbor A-Frame is the very essence of freeride. This directional board with a setback stance ensures maximum fluidity in handling and excellent lift in powder.

What is the Arbor A-Frame snowboard made for?

Thanks to its traditional camber and torsional stiffness, it offers great stability and remarkable edge hold on hard snow. It proves to be extremely efficient on all types of snow and terrain. Its premium construction includes a core made of poplar, paulownia, and bamboo, reinforced with fibreglass and carbon, particularly at the tail for increased rear foot control. The brand’s commitment to sustainability is notable with the use of recycled steel edges, FSC-certified wood, as well as plant-based glue and wax.

Who is the Arbor A-Frame snowboard aimed at?

The A-Frame is recommended for advanced to expert riders. Designed to be very stiff and physically demanding, this board is intended for snowboarders who want to ride at full speed on all types of terrain.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
