Description

The Arbor Formula Rocker is a directional twin snowboard, with symmetry of the nose and tail but a slightly setback foot stance. This setup allows more nimbleness and versatility, while retaining real abilities for freestyle. The flex is perfectly balanced between performance and accessibility, you can put rhythm in the descents while keeping a perfect flex for freestyle and the terrain park. The reverse camber provides maximum playfulness and forgiveness, limiting considerably the risk of catching an edge and offering a smoother glide off-piste and in powder. A board designed for all-mountain riding, with a healthy dose of freestyle and powder. Accessible for a beginner with some basic skills and ideal for an intermediate/advanced snowboard looking to switch between terrains, do some freestyle and off-piste riding.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
