Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Chaser features a directional twin shape, which is symmetrical from nose to tail, but with a slightly back foot position that allows for easy riding and lift, while maintaining maximum freestyle ability. This is the typical all-mountain shape, very versatile, combined here with a playful flex that makes the Chaser really easy to pick up and perfect for progress.

What does the Bataleon Chaser snowboard offer?

The Bataleon Chaser features a fiberglass-reinforced poplar and beech core, offering pop and bounce in turns while remaining easy to ride. The light classic camber provides a secure grip on hard snow without being too technically demanding and it won't pressure you into making mistakes. The 3BT concave tips and the back foot position make it even more fun to ride, making it easier to turn and increase lift. So, you can ride throughout the resort without any trouble! In addition, this easy grip and playful flex also allows you to try your hand at freestyle, especially since the Chaser also handles very well in switch thanks to its symmetrical nose and tail.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
