Description

The Chaser features a directional twin shape, meaning a symmetrical shape from nose to tail but with inserts slightly positioned toward the back. It allows lots of freestyle options while having good floatability and being easy to handle. This very versatile shape is quite common for all-mountain, in the case of the Chaser it is paired to a playful flex making the board easy, allowing you to progress.

What is the program of the Bataleon Chaser snowboard?

With its poplar and beech core reinforced by glass fibre, the Chaser offers pop and rebound out of turns. For the grip on hardpack, you can count on the light classic camber, it remains not demanding technically to prevent you from making mistakes. The slightly setback stance improves floatability and facilitate turn entries, as do the concave 3BT tips that make the board even more enjoyable. The Bataleon Chaser allows you to ride at your own pace in the entire resort, but also do some freestyle, notably thanks to the symmetrical shape, allowing to ride switch easily.

Who is the Bataleon Chaser snowboard for?

The Chaser can be handled even by novice riders, it lets beginners and intermediates have fun comfortably in the entire resort with a forgiving board to progress with confidence.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
