Description

The Cruiser is a directional snowboard, designed to offer maximum manoeuvrability and versatility. It benefits from a very pleasant shape, with a slightly tapered tail and setback foot stance, for effortless turn initiations and great fluidity.

What is the programme of the Bataleon Cruiser snowboard?

The Cruiser features a Pop Core wood core for a medium flex, soft enough to be easy to handle and energy-efficient, while retaining some pop and responsiveness when needed. The traditional camber offers maximum grip on hardpack, while the 3BT tips (Triple Base Technology) increase the forgiveness and enable to ride better off-piste, while enhancing the lift. The directional shape highlights the board’s manoeuvrability and makes it ultra-smooth and agile. It can go from straight down a black run to slaloming through the glades no problem. A board that is genuinely pleasant to ride everywhere.

Who is the Bataleon Cruiser snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate/advanced snowboarders who want to treat themselves to a versatile board to ride everywhere with lots of comfort and sensations.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
