The Bataleon Disaster+ is a snowboard dedicated to freestyle, designed for riders who hit the black line of the terrain park from their first run. It is decidedly performance-focused, perfect for those who love speed, big jumps, and an adrenaline rush.

What is the Bataleon Disaster + snowboard made for?

The Disaster+ is an upgraded version of the traditional Disaster, offering similar features to its little sister, but with added power. It boasts a twin-tip shape, a wood core reinforced with fibreglass and carbon, a Hyper Glide 5 base, and Shock Walls edges, ensuring an intense experience from the get go. Its traditional camber provides good grip on hard snow, which is useful for quick take-offs, and above all, it gives the board maximum pop. With strong legs, you'll be able to jump over almost anything. This board loves a fast pace and, although challenging, it allows you to reach the next level.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
