Description

The Bataleon Distortia is a twin-tip snowboard, symmetrical between nose and tail enabling you to switch and trick without problems. Its flex is well balanced, providing responsiveness in the centre of the board and flexibility at the spatulas. It is pleasant to ride, and the concave shape of the spatula (3BT and SideKick technologies) makes it more playable and versatile.

What is the programme of the Bataleon Distortia snowboard?

Its twin-tip shape and its player flex allow you to have fun in the park and on the bumps, but this freestyle board is not limited to tricks! Thus, its classic camber provides a secure grip on piste, and you enjoy linking turns without strain whilst still being able to increase speed and set the rhythm. You can also have fun on the edges of the piste and enjoy the fresh snow, as the 3BT and SideKick technologies make it easier to get off the snow. Fun and versatility in an all-mountain freestyle, that's what the Distortia is all about!

Who is the Bataleon Distortia snowboard for?

Accessible from the intermediate level, this model is aimed at snowboarders who love freestyle and are looking for a board with which they will be able to place tricks without problems, but also ride as they please in the resort.

What are the main qualities of the Bataleon Distortia snowboard?

Balance between performance and accessibility

Versatility

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
