Description

The Bataleon Push Up is a snowboard with a directional twin shape, meaning it is symmetrical but with a slight setback stance. This makes it a versatile board, easy to handle and able to ride switch and do some freestyle. Its wood core is lightweight and responsive, it is reinforced by carbon in the middle and in the tips, which boosts the rebound and pop. You have at your disposal a medium flex that offers comfort and dynamism to rebound in carving and send good ollies. The setback foot stance facilitates turn initiations and the concave tips with the 3BT and Sidekick technologies ensure the forgiveness of the board which has a playful character. Versatile, the Push Up will let you have fun off-piste thanks to its manoeuvrability and ability to lift.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
