Description

The Stallion is actually an oversized version of the Bataleon The Jam. It has the same characteristics, with a light, powerful and robust construction using wood, triaxial fibreglass and several longitudinal carbon reinforcements. The only difference is that it is wider, enabling snowboarders with big feet from having their toes and heels rubbing during turns!

What is the Bataleon Stallion snowboard program?

The Bataleon Stallion is a twin directional board, with similar width on the nose and tail for switching and tricks, but with a slightly set back foot position to improve manoeuvrability and floatation. It's a powerful board, with a firm flex that gives you stability in speed, recovery in turns and ollie pop. It is a board full of energy that will enable you to engage through the entire station and on the kickers! As a little bonus, the slightly concave shape of the spatulas slightly improves the lift and reduces the risk of edge faults without reducing performance.

Who is the Bataleon Stallion snowboard intended for?

We recommend the Stallion to high-performance snowboarders, who wear large shoes and have a confirmed/expert level. Do you recognise yourself in this description and are you looking for a board that suits you suitable for the entire resort and for sending tricks? Then go for it!

What are the main qualities of the Bataleon Stallion snowboard?

Power

Manoeuvrability

Versatility

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
