The Borealis Marauder is a directional snowboard designed for riders who crave speed and exhilarating turns. It stands shoulder to shoulder with the best carving boards in terms of performance. Featuring a Power Core 2 wood core, it delivers both lightness and responsiveness, while its high-density Sintered 9 900 Base ensures smooth, rapid glide across all types of terrain.

What is the Borealis Marauder snowboard made for?

With its tapered shape and setback inserts, the Marauder excels in powder thanks to instant float and outstanding lift. Its lively yet friendly flex makes popping ollies effortless, provides dynamic rebound out of turns, and inspires confidence at full throttle. The traditional camber combined with serrated edges guarantees flawless grip on hardpack or groomers.

Who is the Borealis Marauder snowboard aimed at?

This board is primarily intended for intermediate to advanced riders seeking precision, speed and control anywhere on the mountain. The Marauder impresses with its balance between freeride performance and all-mountain fun—perfect for those who love venturing off-piste as much as charging down groomers.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
