Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Burton Custom Jungle Flying V is an iconic all-mountain snowboard distinguished by its accomplished balance of forgiveness, grip and feel. Declined here with the Flying V camber, it gains in accessibility and playability, while retaining the performance character that made the Custom such a success. This hybrid profile offers an excellent compromise between stability on piste and flotation in powder, for a more intuitive and fun ride every day.

What's the program for the Burton Custom Jungle Flying V snowboard?

The Burton CustomJungle Flying V expresses itself fully in a versatile freestyle/all-mountain program. Its directional twin shape makes it possible to ride with the same ease in the classic or switch position, a real plus for freestyle and park. The Flying V camber, more permissive than a classic camber, improves forgiveness without giving up grip thanks to camber zones under the feet. It makes the board more accessible, more playful on piste and more fluid in transitions, while optimizing flotation in powder. This profile also brings a more fun ride in deep snow, with a more natural and less physically demanding ride, while retaining good responsiveness when leaning in and efficient pop for ollies and tricks.

Who is the Burton Custom Jungle Flying V snowboard for?

The Custom Jungle Flying V is aimed at intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking for a versatile board that can perform on all terrains. It will be particularly suited to riders who want to progress in freestyle while benefiting from a more forgiving behavior than with the Custom Jungle and its classic camber.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
