Description

The Feather is the women version of the Clash by Burton. Available in shorter lengths and redesigned in order to match women's needs better, you're still going to find the smae DNA inside the two boards. Featuring the same V-Rocker profile combined to a directional shape, Burton throws on the market one of the most agile boards ever made. Turn entries are natural and effortless regardless of the terrain. The specific profile and shape allow the board to float on powder easily without requiring any specific technique and to perform on hard snow with stability.

What our testers say : This is a good match for beginners and intermediates looking for progression. You will hardly find an easier / softer / funner board to learn with. From park to piste through pow, the Feather teaches you gently and forgives most mistakes. The board feels stable and agile without being demanding on your legs. It helps building up confidence and we throughly recommend it for a first board purchase.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
