Description

An alternative version of the Burton Feelgood, the Feelgood Flying V features a hybrid camber that mixes a classic camber with an inverted camber for a secure grip and forgiveness on hard snow, as well as a good lift in powder. Less aggressive than the Feelgood with a classic camber, it offers a fun experience throughout the resort.  

What is the Burton Feelgood Flying V snowboard program?  

With the Feelgood Flying V, you're going to enjoy your day no matter what the conditions are. If you like your boards playful, whether for relaxed rides or freestyling, you're in for a treat. Its hybrid camber limits edge errors onpiste and works great on the edges of piste and off-piste. In fresh snow, you can venture out close to the pines. Across all borders, this camber profile provides forgiveness for easier turns and tricks. Twin directional, it offers a lot of ease in turns since the position of the supports allows to initiate turns more easily. This is an ideal board for varying the pleasures in the resort, covering all terrains and doing a little freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
