Description

Burton's realeasing 3 versions of the Process for 2015. The traditional Process and the Process Flying V which we knew already and the Process Off Axis, a brand new board designed with freestylers in mind. All boards were designed by Dave Waldron.

The three Process come with the same construction, a Super Fly core with trix fibreglass reinforcements enhancing torsional stiffness and liveliness. However, the Off Axis features a Purepop camber turning the board into one of the most explosive freestyle board ever. The traditional camber in the midsection gives the board tons of reactivity while the flat zones under the feet and the rockered tips maximise playfulness and versatility.

What our testers say : It's almost the same as the Process, but it has a little something extra that makes it different. The board's super poppy and seems like a great option for advanced freestylers looking for a lively trick machine. Supportive and precise, the board won't let you down when hitting black kickers at full speed. Recommended to hard chargers.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
