Description

The Burton Rewind features a lightweight yet durable Super Fly wood core, reinforced with glass fibre and offering a well-balanced flex. The board is easy to ride, offers spatula playability, while maintaining response and stability when accelerating.

What is the Burton Rewind snowboard program?

The Burton Rewind is a twin-tip snowboard, symmetrical from nose to tail so that you can ride on either switch or regular. It's the ideal shape for freestyle, but that doesn't mean you should overdo it.

The Rewind is also great for more classic use on the slopes and edges, where the flex is well balanced between performance and playability, allowing you to set the pace on the slopes while maintaining comfort on the supports. Finally, the classic camber and Frostbite edges provide good grip on the piste. So, you can vary the fun between freestyle tricks and downhill runs on slopes and edges.

Who is the Burton Rewind snowboard for?

The Burton Rewind is designed for intermediate to advanced snowboarders, who mainly ride on the slopes and in the snowpark. If you like playful boards for freestyle and rarely venture further than the edges of the slopes, the Burton Rewind should appeal to you!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
