The Forever model from the American skate and snowboard brand DC has a virtually symmetrical shape from nose to tail, with just a few extra millimetres of nose length to work better in mixed snow and make riding easier. All this is a bonus for a board that is already very pleasant to ride all over the resort and perfect for freestyle.  

What is the program of the DC Forever snowboard?   

The DC Forever has a twin directional shape, which is designed to make curve entry easier and allows the nose tip to work better in mixed snow and powder. Nevertheless, the Forever remains a freestyle machine, with the possibility of doing 180° turns, switching, etc. The flex is well balanced, with a good ollie pop, some bounce in the turns, and some flexibility in the spatulas to be able to press. Finally, the grip is excellent on hard snow thanks to its well-marked classic camber. So, you have under your feet a board that is very pleasant to ride and that permits you to progress throughout the resort by varying the pleasures!

Well balanced between fun and performance, this model will be perfect for an intermediate/confirmed snowboarder looking to vary the rhythms and terrain, between relaxed descents, races with friends on the slopes and freestyle sessions in the snowpark.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
