Description

Freestylers looking for a precise blade that can lay trenches and pop ollies with style and ease are going to like the PBJ. Boasting a similar construction as the Focus including an Astro core reinforced with biax fiberglass, the board is as lively and responsive as it gets. The traditional camber featured provides added edge control and offers more precision through the turns. Perfect for shredding the park endlessly without ever getting tired of your board!

What our testers say : This is a nice freestyle board loaded with energy and fun. The board works for any riding level really. The less experienced riders will enjoy the mellow flex of the board enhancing the playful feel delivered, while the advanced freestylers will appreciate the snap response offered by the traditional camber. The board is poppy and durable, very fun to play with in the snowpark and around.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
