What can the DC SPACE ECHO snowboard do?

Here’s a nice freeride all-mountain stick to keep your riding up to pace. The Space Echo by DC has all of your needs covered. Its classic camber delivers the grip you need to carve hard and ride fast down the steepest slopes the resort has to offer while the Stratus core (fibreglass and poplar) offers the pop and the reactivity you love. The directional shape delivers makes the board more manoeuverable on complex terrains and more floaty on powder. The Space Echo is a true multitasker that has no limits whatsoever.

Who is the DC SPACE ECHO snowboard designed for?

This board was designed for advanced and expert riders looking for the ultimate versatility on the mountain. Powder, crud, hardpack or slush, freeride or freestyle, the board adapts to the terrain and to your mood. Stiff and powerful board.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
