Description

The Star Wars Bobafett Ply from DC has a similar construction to the PBJ, but with a more substantial classic camber and stiffer flex. It still is a freestyle model with a twin-tip symmetrical shape, but with more power and pop to carve faster on groomers and jump higher in the terrain park. This snowboard will satisfy advanced riders wanting to ride aggressively as they will be able to link turns without losing momentum. It retains some flexibility for fun freestyle riding. You just have to fly down the slopes in carved turns, one hand touching the snow, before finding a kicker jump to throw a beautiful 360°.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
