Description

The Drake League is a versatile snowboard designed for progressing riders who want maximum playfulness. Thanks to its flat camber complemented by rockers at the tip and tail, it stands out for its forgiving nature and its ability to inspire confidence, whether you're riding on groomers or venturing into the backcountry. Its robust construction and directional shape make it the ideal companion for exploring the entire ski area with smoothness and stability.

What is the Drake League snowboard made for?

The Drake League snowboard is built for all-mountain freeride, featuring a directional twin shape that offers great manoeuvrability and improved float in powder. Its flat profile between the feet, enhanced by rockers at the tip and tail, maximises forgiveness and makes initiating turns easier, while also allowing for creative sessions in the terrain park. The construction combines a full wood core, biaxial fibreglass for added pop, and a fast, durable Sintra 6000 base for dynamic riding in all conditions.

Who is the Drake League snowboard aimed at?

The Drake League is primarily aimed at beginner and intermediate snowboarders looking for a board that is easy to handle and progressive. It’s perfect for those who want to advance confidently on groomers as well as in untouched snow, all while benefitting from a high level of forgiveness for minor technical mistakes.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
