Description

The Dawn from Easy Snowboard is a board that has been developed for riders who like to mix things up. It features a twin-tip shape, symmetrical from nose to tail, with a classic camber and rockers. It also benefits from a rather punchy flex, to provide pop on ollies and rebound in the turns, while retaining some flexibility at the tips to be pleasant and allow to cruise casually.

What is the program of the Easy Snowboard Dawn?

The Dawn features a twin-tip shape and slightly setback foot stance, improving the ability to naturally lift in powder. The Full Wood Core construction with a wood core reinforced by triaxial fiberglass and carbon strips offers a responsive flex to retain maximum control and rebound when carving, while the classic camber provides grip on hard pack and groomers.

Who is the Easy Snowboard Dawn for?

We recommend the Dawn to advanced and expert snowboarders who like to mix things up and do some freeriding, but want to be able to carve with lots of rebound between the turns as well.

What are the main assets of the Easy Snowboard Dawn?

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
