Description

The Folk from easy snowboard is designed with a medium flex and classic camber. Dynamic, very versatile for piste and backcountry riding, and rather similar to the Peak, however it is slightly less stiff and features a directional shape. 

What is the program of the Easy Folk snowboard? 

The Folk features a directional shape, with a narrower tail, longer nose and setback foot stance. This offers more manoeuvrability and versatility, while retaining maximum control at the back foot. The classic camber with double rocker provides forgiveness on groomed snow. Finally, the setback stance facilitates turn initiations and rebound in powder, while making edging on soft snow easier. A versatile and very pleasant board to ride, offering responsiveness and stability on any type of snow, while remaining evolutive and accessible.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
