The Jones Dream Catcher features a directional shape with a slightly tapered tail, a long rocker in the front and a stiffer flex in the back for a more precise and stable riding. It is easy to handle and works well on all types of snow. Like all Jones boards, it benefits from an eco-friendly construction with quality materials, including a wood shell, bioplastic topsheet, recycled edges, biosourced glue and wax, etc. 

What is the program of the Jones Dream Catcher snowboard? 

Efficient on all terrains, easy to handle and evolving, the Dream Catcher will allow you to enjoy yourself throughout the resort whatever the weather conditions. Its camber + rocker profile offers efficient grip on hard snow while maintaining tolerance. The longer rocker on the front and the slightly back foot position makes it easier to enter turns and make the powder passages more playful. Finally, the shape remains balanced enough for switch and the flex is not too rigid, inviting you to let go on freestyle tricks, in the snowpark and on the edges of the piste. Enough to envisage great sessions by varying the pleasures!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
