The Women's Flaghship is certainly one of the best performing women's snowboards on the market when it comes to freeriding. It has a very powerful construction, with a rigid flex and a directional shape that is effective on all terrains. Like all the models produced by Jones, it benefits from an eco-friendly construction, with FSC certified wood shell and wood veneer, linen and basalt reinforcements, bio-based wax and glue, etc.  

What is the Jones Women's Flagship snowboard program?  

The Women's Flaghsip has a tapered shape, 12.5 mm thinner on the back than on the front, as well as a directional rocker and flex. 100% directional, it is designed to work on all types of snow and provide maximum curving abilities. Mission accomplished because it offers exceptional flotation in powder snow, kicks out everything in its path in transformed and mixed snow, and grips without swerving on hard snow. The setback position of the feet favours cornering while naturally improving the lift. Physically demanding to ride, it offers an exceptional stability that allows you to gain maximum speed without shaking. Finally, the high-density Sintered 9 900 Base provides exceptional glide for even more speed in all types of snow. From carving on the piste to the committed freeride line, the Women's Flagship dominates all terrains.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
