If you’re looking for a board to do it all the K2 Antidote is certainly a great option. This versatile snowboard is designed for freeride but also allows to have fun doing freestyle and riding groomers.

What is the program of the K2 Antidote snowboard?

With the K2 Antidote, you’ll be able to send it on all terrains and have fun riding in the entire ski area. The board features an A1 Core which combines aspen, bamboo and paulownia woods. It provides responsiveness, strength and lightness and offers great edge to edge liveliness. The stiff flex and Carbon Darkweb technology allow to trace beautiful turns. The latter is a layer of carbon fibre that facilitates energy transmission and increases stability. The directional twin shape is ideal for freeride, but also allows to send tricks in the terrain park. The board enjoys great pop and liveliness thanks to ICG 20 Carbon Glass technology. You can count on the Wax Infused Sintered 4001 for great glide, it retains wax longer for a smoother ride. The 3D Contour Base at the nose deflects soft snow for perfect turning and edging

Who it the K2 Antidote snowboard for?

We recommend the K2 Antidote to advanced and expert snowboarders looking for a versatile board with which they can send it heavy in freeride, tracing beautiful turns at full speed, as well as have fun doing freestyle in the park.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
