The K2 Broadcast is an all-mountain freeride snowboard designed for intermediate to advanced level riders. It features a Directional Camber profile, a Directional shape, and is built with BAP Core, Biax Fiberglass, and Carbon reinforcements.

What is the K2 Broadcast snowboard made for?

The Broadcast is an all-mountain freeride snowboard that excels in all aspects of the mountain, offering exceptional manoeuvrability and liveliness. Thanks to its slightly directional design with a 2 cm setback stance, it provides easy turn initiations, good float on powder, and smooth riding on all types of terrain, including switch. The combination of its traditional camber and rocker promises reliable performance on various types of snow. The wood core reinforced with fiberglass and carbon ensures impressive responsiveness and punchy pop for ollies, while retaining enough flex for presses and long sessions without tiring the legs. This board, both enjoyable to ride and playful, stands out with its Sintered 4000 base that guarantees excellent glide and remarkable durability.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
