Description

The K2 Dreamsicle women's snowboard is responsive, lively and safe on all terrains. A little more tonic than the First Lite while remaining easy to ride, it's a model that can be used for freestyle playability as well as for comfort on the slopes and edges.

What is the program of the K2 Bright Lite snowboard?

The Bright Lite works on all types of snow and is very easy to ride. Its flat camber provides a good compromise between grip and forgiveness on the piste, while the rocker zones on the spatula eases transitions from edge to edge while improving lift in powder. In the same vein, the position of the feet is set back slightly to offer a little more fluidity during curve entries and ease in fresh snow. Finally, the accessible flex allows you to ride without getting exhausted, while maintaining reactivity and stability with a real wood shell reinforced with fiberglass and carbon fiber. A great way to take full advantage of the whole resort, including the snowpark, by varying the rhythms and terrain!

Who is the K2 Bright Lite snowboard for?

We recommend this model to intermediate snowboarders, freestyle or not, looking for a versatile and progressive snowboard, with which they can link runs all day long and progress without getting into difficulty.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
