Description

The K2 Outline features a high-end construction that uses a variety of technologies to give you responsiveness and stability while remaining light and easy to ride. It features a Honeykomb construction, which is inspired by the honeycomb construction of bees to make the board lighter while maintaining strength and responsiveness. The board also features carbon reinforcements to an increase stability without making the board too stiff. The K2 Outline offers great performance without sacrificing flex and comfort. The classic camber provides an excellent grip and it's a pleasure to link turns on the slopes. The rocker in the front tip and the slightly setback foot position also make it possible for seeking new sensations off the slopes in powder. Finally, it is adapted to switch and tricks but is mainly designed to link curves on the slopes and small off-piste sections.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
