Description

This is Tim Eddy's weapon of choice when he's going on an all-mountain adventure on a snowboard. The Slayblade provides him with everything he needs, from pop to precision and stability, the board rocks and pows through any terrain with a ridiculous ease. Featuring a bamboo woodcore combined with the Baseline Precision and Tweekend technologies, the Slayblade is as versatile as it gets and delivers optimal performance everywhere.

What our testers say : It's hard to say whether the board is freestyle or freeride oriented cause it does both equally. It felt playful and poppy through the park like a good freestyle gun and delivered edge control and responsiveness on piste. On powder, the rockered profile takes over and keeps you afloat while offering butterability and easy presses. Great board for advanced sporty riders.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
