Description

Ahh, Lib Tech and their banana philosophy. The american brand masters innovation and keeps releasing boards with unique shapes and graphics. It is also reknowned for the quality of the products it makes and its attention to details. The Banana Blaster is no exception.

What can the Lib Tech Banana Blaster snowboard do?

A board designed for the youth, for mini riders who want to shred with a true freestyle board. This board is a mini version of the legendary Skate Banana which is the symbol playfulness and pleasure. Its BTX profile made out of rockers and flat sections makes the board super forgiving. Even if you try your best, you’ll struggle catching an edge. It’s a great progressive board with a confidence inspiring behaviour on the snow. The board covers any freestyle need you may have while it lets you cruise down the slopes, on or off piste, freely. It is an excellent junior board, extremely versatile, that will help any kid out there to step up his snowboard game and have fun doing it.

Who is the Lib Tech Banana Blaster snowboard designed for?

The Banana Blaster is going to get on with a large crowd of riders. From beginner kids looking for an easy ride making progression easy and painless, to advanced freestylers seeking for a true park board for stomping kickers and rails all day, the Banana Blaster is a safe bet.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
