Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Lib Tech Cortado is a freeride and all-mountain oriented snowboard for women. It offers a fluid performance on all types of snow and throughout the resort, it is easy to handle but allows you to set the pace during descents. You benefit from the versatility and manoeuvrability provided by the directional shape and slightly setback foot position. Turns are easier to engage, but you still have a balanced board that allows you to do a little switching and freestyle. The hybrid camber provides a mix of grip, forgiveness and float, while the Magne-Traction edges add grip where you need it. Finally, the Original Power construction offers pop, responsiveness and stability, but is still physically accessible enough. You can therefore enjoy this board from the intermediate/advanced level.

What are the main qualities of the Lib Tech Cortado snowboard?

Versatility

Manageability

Compromise between performance and accessibility

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
