Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Lib Tech Dynamo is a directional snowboard that blends power and manoeuvrability thanks to its traditional camber and well-balanced medium flex. It delivers an excellent balance of control, stability, and versatility, making it the perfect board for mixing up your riding styles. Crafted in the eco-friendly Mervin factory in the United States, it benefits from responsible manufacturing with bio-based materials, renewable energy sources, and optimised waste management.

What is the Lib Tech Dynamo snowboard made for?

With its directional shape, the Dynamo features a longer and wider nose than tail, which sets the inserts slightly towards the rear. The result: natural float in deep snow and easier edge hold regardless of snow conditions. The traditional camber ensures reliable grip on groomers while Magne-Traction edges with their wavy profile provide enhanced traction—especially on hardpack or icy slopes. Its responsive yet not overly stiff construction allows for dynamic and precise riding ideal for carving; plus you get bonus capability to venture into backcountry powder when you want to break away from groomed runs.

Who is the Lib Tech Dynamo snowboard aimed at?

This model is aimed at intermediate to expert riders who love intense carving sessions and picking up speed across all types of terrain. If you enjoy exploring every aspect of the mountain—and are looking for a responsive yet stable board—the Dynamo will suit you perfectly. However, beginners or less experienced riders may find it somewhat demanding at first.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
