Description

Pro-model of snowboarder Eric Jackson, the Lib Tech Ejack Knife is a powerful and versatile snowboard that allows riders with a very good technical level and good physical condition to be able to tame the beast to send high, hard and on all terrains. HorsePower construction with poplar, paulownia and fiberglass gives it an exceptional power-to-weight ratio, while the classic camber makes good use of all that energy with a tonic pop, relaunch in the turns and a stable ride at high speed. The set-back position of the inserts and the board's slightly tapered shape allow it to deflect effortlessly, ensure more control in turns and facilitate curve entry. The board's good balance also allows you to switch to find yourself with a versatile board that lets you enjoy the whole resort with runs punctuated by tricks and rotations at the slightest opportunity.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
