Description

Pro-model of the American snowboarder, skateboarder and artist Jamie Lynn, Lib Tech's long-time partner, the Lib Tech Jamie Lynn snowboard is designed specifically to provide Jamie with the opportunity to express his creativity on all terrains. His creativity knows no bounds, not only is he great on a board he is the artist, the decoration of this board is made by Jamie himself. The board is manufactured in an eco-friendly way in the Mervin factory in the USA.

What is Jamie Lynn's Lib Tech snowboard program?

The Jamie Lynn is a board designed in a directional way to improve control, manoeuvrability and floatation, without being too perceptible when trying to switch or place tricks. Effective on all types of snow, its front volume and slightly setback foot position provides effortless lift in the snow, while the classic camber provides good grip on hard snow. This camber, combined with the Power Construction which mixes poplar, paulownia and fiberglass, provides the bounce and stability needed to carve your descents on piste without making the board too stiff or uncomfortable to ride. This is a very versatile board that you will enjoy!

Who is the Lib Tech Jamie Lynn snowboard for?

We recommend this model to experienced or expert snowboarders looking to ride on all types of snow and are looking for a board that provides performance for curves at high speed, but playful for a little freestyle on the edges of the piste and in the backcountry.

What are the main qualities of Jamie Lynn's Lib Tech snowboard?

Lift

Dynamism

Versatility

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
