Description

The No.43 model has a twin-tip shape, typical of freestyle snowboards, but it's not limited to snowparks as it allows you to ride hard on the slopes and edges. Powerful and lightweight, it has also been manufactured in an eco-friendly way in the Mervin factory based in the USA.

What is the program of the Lib Tech No.43 snowboard?

The No.43 is equipped with Lib Tech's HorsePower construction, a mix of fiberglass and several types of wood offering an excellent power-to-weight ratio. With this construction, combined with a hybrid camber that mixes classic and rocker camber sections, and with the Magne-Traction technology that increases grip on the piste, you have a responsive and stable board under your feet that allows you to make powerful turns on the slopes as well as slash the fresh snow on the edges of the piste. If you like freestyle and the snowpark, you won't be disappointed with its ollie pop, its flexible spatulas for easy presses, as well as its symmetrical shape allowing you to switch without problems.

Who is the Lib Tech No.43 snowboard for?

This model is designed for experienced or expert snowboarders who mainly ride on the slopes and are looking for a model that allows them to ride fast and strong while maintaining versatility and freestyle playability.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
