Description

The Lib Tech Rasman is a dynamic, responsive and versatile snowboard, not to put on the feet of any rider. It provides good grip on piste and offers good playfulness off-piste, while being able to ride in the park, even if the shape does not make it its area of choice. Rather stiff and powerful, this is an ideal model to have a blast on any terrain.

What is the program of the Lib Tech Rasman snowboard?  

Its program is rather freeride-oriented but it turns out the board is very versatile. The Banana hybrid camber combines areas of classic and reverse camber to offer a smooth glide and grip on hardpack or groomed snow. This mixed camber also improves the floatability already provided by the directional shape, while the combination of aspen and paulownia of the core is paired to biaxial glass fibre to provide pop and rebound out of turns. The Rasman features a rather stiff flex, allowing riders with good skills and physical condition to tame its power, with lots of control and stability.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
