Description

The T-Rice Pro Series returns and offers riders a variety of choices, each version having its own specific properties.

The Pro Pointy Horsepower keeps the same shape and profile as the standard T-Rice Pro Pointy with a C2 Power Banana camber maximising agility and responsiveness and pointy tips enhancing floatability. The board also utilises the Magne Traction tech turning your edges into hot knives cutting across the slopes deeper than a samourai sword. The real change with the Horsepower version comes from the deck's construction. Featuring a new eco-friendly core incorporating different woods and basalt fibers, the board delivers performance like we've never seen before.

What our testers say : Lighter than the T-Rice Pro Pointy and a touch more powerful, the Horsepower version aims for expert riders looking for the ultimate powder backcountry board. The board does feel lighter when riding and that makes quite a difference. Turns generate less fatigue, they're faster to engage and the board feels ever poppier.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
