Description

Snowboarder Travis Rice uses several pro-models from Lib Tech, each being designed for a well-defined program. The T.Rice Pro is one of these two boards. This freestyle/all-mountain snowboard offers the same powerful construction and symmetrical shape as the Blunted but without using the square-shaped tips. With its waterdrop tips, the T.Rice Pro offers better performances in powder.

What is the program of the Lib Tech T.Rice Pro snowboard?

The HorsePower construction of this model is made of a combination of wood, glass fibre and basalt, for a very good power/weight ratio and great performances. The Magne-Traction serrated edges ensure fierce grip and the C2 Xtrem Perfection hybrid camber alternates areas of classic and reverse camber to combine the advantages of each in one camber. You benefit from efficient floatability and grip, with pop and playfulness. It is thanks to this mix of technologies that this snowboard can reach such capabilities no matter the terrain, with enough responsiveness to send it and shred in freestyle. You can carve at a good pace on piste, take a detour in the terrain park to defy gravity and venture in the backcountry for the rest of the day according to your wishes and the snow conditions.

Who is the Lib Tech T.Rice Pro snowboard for?

This model is meant for skilled or highly skilled riders to have a blast on any terrain with some bias toward backcountry.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
