Description

The HP T.Rice Pro is available in two versions: a Blunt version and a Pointy version. Both have a twin-tip shape and the same construction; they differ only in the shape of the spatulas. The Pointy has pointed tips, which are a little more powder-like than the cut tips of the Blunt version.

What is the program of the Lib Tech T.Rice Pro HP Pointy snowboard?

The T.Rice Pro HP Pointy is a very high-end model, with a HorsePower construction that mixes poplar, paulownia, fiberglass and a high-density sole, that offers maximum performance for engagement during descents with all the necessary control and stability. This construction is complemented by a C2 hybrid camber, which combines camber sections with rocker sections that ensure good grip on hard snow, good flotation in powder, and good pop. For even more efficiency on hard snow, there are also Magne-Traction corrugated edges that increase grip. Finally, with the twin-tip shape, you are offered a clean slate to freestyle and switch at any time. So, this is the ideal board to ride hard and send big tricks.

Who is the Lib Tech T.Rice Pro HP Pointy snowboard for?

We recommend this model to snowboarders with a very good technical level and balance, who are looking for a versatile board with which they can set the pace during descents on all terrains, go off-piste when the conditions are right and do freestyle.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
