The 2017 Jib Board by Lobster has one mission, annihilate the entire resort before doing the same in the streets. You got the point, it is a freestyle-specific snowboard designed to link tricks all day and stomp park features or anything that looks like it with style and ease. Built like a skateboard, the board features a flat profile for added playfulness without compromising pop and agility. The 3BT shape is still here, ensuring performance no matter what.

What can the Lobster Jibboard snowboard do?

This flat twin is ideally suited for jibbing, jumping and freestyling in general. It is the perfect board for messing around and have fun doing it. The mellow flex makes it super easy to press and bend on flat ground or on handrail and park boxes or for working on your butters off natural lip. The board feels just like a skateboard, as agile and as light, you can have it do exactly what you want. You get more control over your tricks and more style through your landings. If you were planning on ratcheting your freestyle skills up a notch, look no further.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
