Description

Perfectly symmetrical in shape and flex, it doesn't get more playful and freestyle than the Cheap Thrills. However, it works equally well throughout the resort, remaining safe on packed snow and offering comfort on the edges of the piste.  

What is the program of the Nitro Cheap Thrills snowboard?  

The Cheap Thrills is a pure twin freestyle model, very playful and always ready for a switch. The flexibility of the spatulas allows you to go in press without forcing and permits all the jib manoeuvres possible and imaginable. It's the perfect board for those who enjoy riding with a duck stance (with the bindings set at -15 / +15) to do a 180° and switch at the slightest opportunity. The flat camber provides a good compromise between grip and forgiveness on the piste and works equally well on light powder and spring snow. Finally, the Whiplash construction boosts ollie pop, while the edges reinforced with the Railkiller Edge technology are ready to throw themselves on the rails and boxes of the snowpark!

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
