Description

The Nitro Cheap Thrills is a twin-tip board, which means that it is symmetrical between the nose and the tail and can be ridden in either direction. Its flex is quite playful, making it easy to ride and perform tricks such as presses and other tricks requiring flexibility in the tips. The flat camber is also present to provide more playability, making it easier to get out of your skids and change direction, while maintaining a secure grip on the piste. This camber also offers a little more ease in soft snow, compared to a classic camber. You can therefore have fun on the edges of the slopes, playing with the relief and slashing a little bit of snow. This is an ideal snowboard for riders who prefer playability to be able to place as many tricks as possible and progress quickly in freestyle.

Tips and advice

Size of your board?

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
