The Cinema has been in the catalogue of the American brand Nitro for many years, always encountering as success thanks to its ease of use and its ability to go from the piste to the snowpark, without forgetting the small off-piste areas of course.  

What is the program of the Nitro Cinema snowboard?  

The Cinema is symmetrical from nose to tail but with a slightly set back feet position, which allows you to ride switch and enjoy playability in freestyle, while taking advantage of more playful curve entries and a better glide on fresh snow. The flexible flex allows the rider to ride effortlessly and place press and other freestyle/jib tricks easily. Hybrid camber, a mix of classic and reverse camber, provides a blend of grip, floatation and forgiveness. It works on all types of snow and favours playability. thus, this board will really allow you to have fun whatever the conditions and your desires of the day!

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
