Description

Note: The colour of the bases may be different from the picture displayed on the website, manufacturers combine colours randomly.

The Cinema is a staple of Nitro’s range, appreciated for its easy handling and versatility, ideal for riding on groomers, in the terrain park, and even in the backcountry. It can be chosen in a shorter size.

What is the Nitro Cinema snowboard made for?

The Cinema is a board with a directional twin shape, symmetrical from nose to tail, offering excellent manoeuvrability in switch and great playfulness. The slightly set-back stance promotes float in powder and makes carving easier. With a rather soft flex, it makes it easier to send tricks, whether in flat with presses and butters or jibbing on rails and boxes. Its hybrid camber combines traditional and reverse camber, offering a good balance between edge hold, float, and forgiveness. This profile allows for riding on all types of snow with a lot of playfulness. The Cinema excels on all terrains and in all conditions, offering fun and performance in powder, easy pivoting, and efficiency in flat.

Who is the Nitro Cinema snowboard aimed at?

The Nitro Cinema is ideal for intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking for a versatile board to have fun all over the resort, with great playfulness for freestyle. Even experienced riders will appreciate its qualities and flexibility.

Tips and advice

The length of your board is extremely important. Several parameters have to be taken into account : Your height, your weight, your level and your program (allmountain-freeride-freestyle). We created a calculator that will tell you what size of board would suit you best, once you've completed these parameters. You can also call us (+33 4 73 26 98 47) to get a personal advice from our experienced team.
The snowboards you'll purchase on our website are all factory waxed and tuned. That means it's ready to hit the slopes. However, that doesn't work forever, and in order to keep your equipment at the top performance, you need to maintain base and edges on a regular basis.
Maintaining your skis is essential to ensure an optimal glide and grip. Frequency of maintenance may vary depending on how often you use your board, or on how damaged it is. We recommend that you wax it every 10 riding days, and at the end of the season. Edges need to be tuned up to 2 times per season if you want to keep a good edge control. However, don't get them overtuned because every tuning takes some of the steel off.

When your base is damaged and shows shallow scratches or rock gouge, it is possible to repair it.

You can get these repairs done by professional ski shop, or if the gouge is only superficial you may repair it yourself. To do so, you will need special tools and materials such as wax, Ptex for repairing bases, edge tuners, etc. You can find them on our website.
